Wheat Pangenome

.

How to use this tool

This page can generate different kind of charts based on already available datasets. We have provided some pangenome statistics which can be plotted here.
To plot the data, please follow these instructions:

1. This is a drag and drop facility, here you can drag and drop the available data fields on the left column in either X or Y axis and a plot will be geberated automatically.
2. Since there are many datasets and every dataset cannot be plotted with each other, for a users convenience, we have prefixed datasets with a number and datasets with same number can only be plotted.
3. For example: Any 'Dimension' dataset (having blue icon) having '1_' can be drag and dropped in X-axis space while any 'Measure' dataset (purple icon) having '1_' can be drag and dropped in Y-axis space. A corresponding plot will be generated.
4. Numbers having 'F' with them can be used as a filter for a plot.
5. Lets plot a dataset to see an example: We want to see how many genes are there are in each wheat variety with wheat variety names be displayed on X-axis while the number of genes on the Y-axis. To do this, drag and drop dataset '1_Wheat_Variety' in the X-axis space and the dataset '1_Number_of_genes_in_species' in the space provided for Y-axis. This will generate the plot. Now lets add a filter, we want to see that out of these varieties how many are diploid, tetraploid or hexaploid. To do this, drag and drop the file '1F_Ploidy' in the space provided for 'Color'. Your plot will be automatically updated.
